People struggle to get lean because they make their diet too complicated.
Too many variables.
I recommend simplifying things.
- Fast the first 4-5 hours after waking up
- Make your first meal small (400-600 calories)
- Walk either in the afternoon or before this first meal
- Eat a large dinner in the evening
- Allow a snack before bed of around 300 calories
So remember.
Fast 4-5 hours, small meal, big dinner, and small dessert.
The walking helps a ton as well.

Walking 60-90 minutes a day can create a larger deficit.
It’s an incredible health habit as well.
I find it is good for the mind too.
The reason why it is better than jogging for fat loss, in my opinion, is you don’t experience the “cardio compensation” effect.
When cardio is too intense…
The body can respond by burning fewer calories for the rest of the day.
It does this in a few ways.
Intense cardio will make you naturally want to rest.
You wind up being inactive.

You want to exercise in a way that doesn’t make you exhausted for the rest of the day.
This is key.
You are trying to burn calories all day long.
Walking is a way to burn calories and body fat without crushing your energy levels.
It gives you energy when you do it right.
Okay, as far as the meals go.
It pays to keep it simple here.
When we personally coach people, here’s what we recommend.
- Octane sometime after waking up.
- Coffee an hour or two after that.
- For lunch, Collagen Protein mixed with plain 2% Greek Yogurt.
- Chop up a banana into yogurt and/or have a rice crispy square with lunch.
- Steak, potato, and green vegetables for dinner
- Magnum Ice Cream bar or equivalent calorie dessert before bed
I’ve NEVER seen this approach fail.
It really is foolproof.

We sell Octane and Collagen in a stack called The Lean Stack.
DO… NOT… ORDER… NOW!
On Thursday, I’m running a BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sale for The Lean Stack.
Pick this up on Thursday.
You will have 2 months worth of Octane and Collagen.
Then just walk and eat a reasonable dinner.
You will be significantly leaner by November.
It really is as simple as that.
