So, this is what I’m doing right now to gain muscle while staying lean.
Five days a week, I’m running a calorie deficit.
I’m doing the shred bowl for my first meal to break the fast, with a little croissant or Rice Krispy square.
“The Shred Bowl”
- 1 cup of 2% plain Greek yogurt: This adds about 150 calories and a little over 20 grams of protein.
- 1 scoop of Kino Collagen: This not only enhances the taste, making it like chocolate pudding, but also adds another 80 calories and 18 grams of protein.
- 1 sliced banana: A perfect complement that takes the taste to another level.
- Take Mojo capsules with this meal to power up testosterone.
It’s perfect because doing this five days a week.

*So 1 pack of the Kino Collagen Protein lasts the entire month.
Then two days a week I’ll have a bigger first meal.
Like in Barcelona maybe a turkey sandwich, croissant, and half a donut.
Or I’ll do a big brunch with eggs and pancakes.
So twice a week I’ll just have a much higher calorie first meal.
I’ll take Kino Mojo with that first meal.
I’m also taking Kino Gains Creatine daily (key to gaining muscle while staying lean).
This is the strategy I’m using, and it’s working extremely well.
You can cut fat while doing this.

*A picture of a recent epic 1st meal I had in Barcelona. Eggs Benedict was frickin delicious!
But if you keep your calories kind of really high on those 2 higher calorie days, you can actually kind of recomp… stay the same weight and get leaner and stronger.
If you want to focus more on muscle gain?
Make sure to pick up Kino Gains.
And maybe 3 days you do the higher calorie meal and 4 days, the shred bowl.
You can even test 4 days of a higher-calorie first meal and 3 days of the shred bowl, but make sure you aren’t gaining weight too quickly.
Pick up Kino Collagen and Mojo.
And give this shred bowl strategy a shot.
It takes out all the guesswork.
