Is it Possible to Walk TOO Much?

The more steps I get in each day, the better I feel and the leaner I get.

I love walking.

Super underrated.

But I always wondered if there was an upper limit to the benefits.

A study published last week addressed this.

This was a meta-analysis that looked at 17 studies involving 226,889 people.

This makes it one of the biggest walking studies ever published.

A few of the findings.

  • 3,967 steps a day reduced the risk of dying from any cause
  • Each increase of 1,000 steps a day reduced the risk of death by 15%
  • Even if people walk as many as 20,000 steps a day, the health benefits continued to increase
  • They have NOT found an upper limit of steps on the benefits yet

It seems like the more steps, the better.

I know when I walk 12,000-15,000, it makes it easier to get lean.

This gave me an idea.

I thought it would be fun to set up a “12,000 steps walking challenge.”

It will last 30 days, from August 15th – September 15th.

Here’s the challenge.

Walk 12,000 steps each and every day, without fail, for 30 days in a row.

If you want to be part of this?

We will be starting tomorrow (Tues, August 15th).

Ending on Sept 15th.

If you don’t have a step tracker, here’s a way of hitting this goal.

  • If you tend to be active, aim for a 60-minute walking session
  • If you sit most of the day, get 90 minutes of walking in
  • You can do this outside or on a treadmill
  • If you are using a treadmill, put the incline at level 2-3

Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be.

It’s fine to do more than this each day.

If I can get someone to fast for the first 4 hours each day and also get in 12,000 steps… everything tends to fall into place.

Do this for 30 days and you will build some fat loss momentum!

If you want to participate in this?

I’ll be giving updates every few days in the Kinobody Facebook Group.

In just 30 days, you will be significantly leaner.

This is almost a foolproof way to burn off stubborn body fat.
