Is Too Much Exercise Harmful?

I understand the desire to train often.

Especially when you are just starting out lifting weights.

One of my biggest challenges is talking guys into training just 2-3 times per week.

Training too much does more harm than good.

I started researching this because I noticed a lot of guys who have trained hard for years look old in the face.

They don’t look healthy to me.

I want to look and feel better, not worse, from my training.

I recently found this interesting study.

This study compared three levels of training.

  • Prolonged Exercise Group: 2+ hours of exercise per day
  • Moderate Exercise Group: 30 minutes 3 times per week
  • Sedentary Group: Little to no exercise

They found that inflammation and oxidant production occurs with prolonged but not moderate exercise.

Prolonged exercise lowered nitric oxide…

But even worse than that, it increased CRP.

CRP stands for “C-reactive protein.”

The CRP test is a general test to check for inflammation in the body.

Higher CRP levels are associated with an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular problems.

Not good!

There are some things that can help.

One of the benefits of Kino Nitro is that it replenishes Nitric Oxide and has potent antioxidants that can fight free radicals caused by large amounts of exercise.

But I also recommend just keeping exercise moderate.

Movie Star Masterclass consists of 3 workouts per week, Lazy Ripped is 2 workouts per week for a period of time, followed by 3 workouts per week.

You don’t need more than this.

Spend the rest of your time walking.

Walking is a healthy, low-intensity activity that doesn’t raise inflammation markers.

So, lift 2-3 times per week and walk.
