The Leaner You Are – The Hungrier You Get?

As you lose body fat, a couple of things happen.

  1. Increased Ghrelin (your hunger hormone): The body does this to make you eat calories to regain lost weight. Makes you crave food.
  2. Decreased Leptin (your satiety hormone): When you have less of it, you feel less satisfied with the same amount of food. It makes it hard to feel full and satisfied.

So the leaner you get…

Typically, the hungrier you become.

A way to combat hunger is to take an amino acid supplement.

Specifically Kino Aminos.

*When I first started supplementing with aminos I noticed it was easier to stick to my diet. I thought it was maybe all in my head until I did a bit of research.

Protein has been shown to curb hunger.

There is an interesting hypothesis about why we stop or reduce eating once protein needs are met…

The body possibly does this to protect itself from consuming too much protein (as a protective mechanism).

Does this mean we should eat a super-high protein diet to stay lean?

Not necessarily.

You need to eat enough carbs and fats to maximize testosterone.

You will never reach your true potential if you cut carbs and fats too much.

When testosterone is low, it’s hard to build muscle and stay lean.

The problem is this.

  • To lose fat, you need to be in a deficit.
  • If you increase protein without cutting carbs and fat, you will be in a surplus and won’t lose body fat.
  • But if you cut carbs and fat too much, your hormones get negatively impacted.

So what do you do?

I recommend Kino Aminos.

This gives you the building blocks of protein with minimal additional calories (40-50).

Plus research[1] shows pre-workout EAA’s boost metabolism.

And EAA’s help shift fuel metabolism purely to fat burning on a cut.

Not only will it kill your appetite…

It preserves muscle mass on a low-calorie diet.

This is THE supplement you will want to add to your routine if you want to get below 10% body fat.

It will help you stick to your diet.

It will also help you add or maintain muscle as you strip away fat and get shredded.

P.S.

Aminos are highly underrated.

If you are in a calorie surplus, they aren’t going to help you much.

It’s when you are in a deficit and approaching 10% body fat is when the magic happens.

As I mentioned, they are incredible at blunting hunger during the fast and supporting muscle gains while in a calorie deficit.

In fact, when cutting below 10% very helpful at shifting fuel metabolism exclusively to fat loss.

The result is more muscle and less fat.

This has helped me reach my lowest levels of body fat while retaining muscle.

Our new improved formula has 7000mg leucine and 2000mg HMB.

This is the highest you will see on the market.

Most amino’s are under-dosed in leucine.

Research on HMB is pretty damn fascinating, showing pretty impressive muscle gains.

There was a study showing superior gains to HMB vs steroids, but we must take that with a grain of salt, since that is highly unlikely.

But nonetheless, it’s a great addition to an amino formula…
