The “Money Set” in Your Day

In London right now.

About to get my steps in, so I’ll keep this short.

I have a tip for entrepreneurs.

It’s a way to get more done in 2 hours than a lot of guys do in a day.

I call it the “Money Set”.

  • Wake up and take Nitro
  • Do a quick Power of Now meditation
  • Get 30 minutes of walking in (get some natural light)
  • ^^^These steps will take 60 minutes total
  • Grab a cup of coffee or Octane
  • Sip it slowly and do your most impactful work (writing, content, planning, vision, problem solving)
  • ^^^This is your most productive 2 hour window of the day

Let’s say you get up at 7 AM.

You will have Nitro, meditate, walk for 30 minutes, and get some natural light.

By 8 AM, your brain is firing on all cylinders.

You are ready to be productive.

From 8 AM – 10 AM, you will do tremendously powerful work, have your best ideas, etc.

The key is to treat this 2 hour period as sacred.

Turn off social media, put your phone away, etc.

Are you familiar with “Parkinson’s Law”?

Parkinson’s Law states that work expands to fill the time available for its completion.

In other words, if you give yourself a week to complete a task, it will take a week, but if you give yourself a day, you’ll find a way to get it done in a day.

I really find I can get a lot done in 2 hours.

Especially if I set a strict 2-hour time limit.

I like this, especially during summer or traveling, because I can finish all my important work well before noon.

Then, I can fully enjoy the rest of the day.

I’m present because I’m not worrying about unfinished tasks.

Obviously, there are days you work more than 2 hours.

Like when I’m home in Toronto I put in more time.

But even on those days, I have a focused 2-hour period where I’m incredibly productive.

You will be surprised at how much you get done when you put a time limit to it.

Give it a shot.
