Eating Breakfast for Dinner?

It’s kind of fun eating breakfast food for dinner.

It reminds me of being a kid.

I love eggs, omelets, pancakes, crepes, etc.

Pancakes are especially tasty.

The only problem is that eating them in the morning will put you into a food coma.

They are much better in the evening.

This is when you are in wind-down mode.

Another issue is that standard pancakes don’t give you enough bang-for-your-buck for how many calories they contain.

A lot of unnecessary calories.

And not enough protein.

Chef Ricky (aka Movie Star Chef) has greatly improved the traditional pancake.

These pancakes contain 552 calories and 42 grams of protein.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 22g Kino Collagen (Vanilla)
  • 100g Egg Whites
  • 1 Egg
  • 60g Quick Oats
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 7g Butter
  • 100g Blueberries

These easily taste as good as regular pancakes.

And if this is your only meal for the day, add some scrambled eggs on the side.

The protein from the eggs and collagen are exactly what your muscles crave at the end of the day.I also love that Ricky’s recipe uses Oats instead of flour.

My body does best when gluten is limited, so I prefer this over white flour.

Here’s how to make the pancakes.

πŸ₯£ Blend the oats, egg whites, egg, baking powder, Kino Collagen

πŸ”₯ Cook on a skillet, using a bit of butter or non-stick cooking spray

πŸ”₯ Flip once you see the bubbles forming on top and the bottom looks ready

πŸ˜‹ Drizzle some maple syrup on top, add the blueberries & enjoy!

If you are bored of standard meals at night.

Give this a shot.
