Mark Wahlberg’s Workout Schedule

I was watching some videos on Youtube this past weekend, and a YT short came on with Mark Wahlberg’s workout schedule.

I can’t find that YT short.

But I found a few recent articles that outline it.

I’ll summarize a typical Mark Wahlberg day:

  • Wakes up at 2:30 AM
  • 3:15 AM: First meal of steel oats, peanut butter, blueberries, and eggs
  • 3.40 – 5.15 AM: First workout
  • 5:30 AM: Second breakfast consisting of a protein shake and three turkey burgers
  • 7.30 – 9:30 AM: Goes to the golf course
  • 9:30 AM: Cryo Chamber
  • 10:30 AM: Third breakfast of a grilled chicken salad with two hard-boiled eggs, olives, avocado, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce.
  • 3:30 PM: Grilled chicken and bok choy
  • 4:00 – 5:00 PM: Second daily workout
  • 5:30 PM: Fish like halibut, cod, or sea bass, alongside veggies like sautéed spinach and bok choy
  • 8 PM: Goes to bed

This is a pretty intense schedule.

He eats 5 strict meals each and every day.

Also trains two times per day on most days.

Here’s a recent pic at the age of 51.

He looks great!

No doubt he’s in incredible shape.

However, I do feel like he could get this same level of physique in a fraction of the time he’s spending now.

He’s training 2 times per day.

He could easily get this shredded only by training 2-3 times per WEEK.

He just needs to eat less.

He’s eating 5 times per day and those calories add up.

He needs to train so much because he’s eating more than he needs to.

And since he is eating so frequently…

He can’t feast like a Kino Warrior.

I think part of the reason Mark Wahlberg trains so often is that he began training in the 80s.

Arnold and all those guys trained 6-7 times per week.

Two-hour daily workouts.

Mainstream fitness methods back then were based on competitive bodybuilder routines.

Wahlberg has stuck with that approach.

It works for him.

But it’s been 30+ years and there are better approaches now.
