Never Stop Lifting

The dumbest thing you could possibly do is to stop lifting.

I see it all the time.

Guys will start working out 5 days per week.

Get in the groove.

Then they fall off and stop completely.

The problem is that they are following guys taking steroids who can recover quickly, so they can make progress on 5-6 days per week.

This is close to impossible for drug-free lifters.

That is why so many people quit when following that type of schedule.

I coach a lot of 7-8 figure per year entrepreneurs.

I’m helping them get jacked training just 2 times per week.

They are f*ckn loving it!

I’ve been traveling a ton and have been super busy.

For the past 5 months, I’ve just been doing 2 workouts per week.

I’m making gains and leaner than ever.

Here’s what people don’t realize.

You can maintain so much of your physique with one workout a week.

You only need about one-third of the volume that you had to build your physique to really preserve, like 90 to 95% of it.

Let’s say you quit working out because life got too busy.

I want you to find 1 hour per week to work out.

What would I do if I could only work out once per week?

  • Incline Dumbbell Bench Press: 3 Sets
  • Weighted Pullups: 3 Sets
  • Bulgarian Split Squats: 2 Sets
  • Romanian Deadlift: 2 Sets
  • Face Pulls: 2-3 Sets
  • Lateral Raises: 2-3 Sets

I’ve hit my chest, triceps, and front delts with the incline press.

My back and biceps get worked hard with weighted pullups.

I’ve hit my legs perfectly.

Then I hit my rear and side delts with the face pulls and lateral raises.

That’s pretty much it.

If you did this once per week, you would maintain your entire physique.

I think 2 workouts per week is better, but 1 workout per week will carry you through the busiest times in your life.

Just don’t quit.

You absolutely can find one hour per week.

Track your workouts.

Get a little bit stronger once per week.

In addition to that, get your 10,000 steps in or close to it each and every day.

When in doubt, walk as much as possible.

It’s such an incredible lifetime health habit.

Fast in the morning.

Eat a reasonable number of calories each day for your size.

There is no reason why every guy shouldn’t be in decent shape.

You don’t have to be chiseled.

But EVERY man should be in decent shape.

Life becomes so much better when you get fit.

I think we’ve been sold the idea that if you aren’t training 4-6 days per week, you are wasting your time.

This is NOT true.

You can look pretty darn good training just 1 time per week.

You can make incredible gains training 2 times per week.

When you train only 1-2 times per week, the workouts become fun again.

It’s funny, now that I only work out twice a week…

I’m so excited to train.

I’m like, “Yes! I get to train. It’s training day”.

It isn’t a chore.

I’m enjoying it more than ever and making incredible gains.

I want the same for you.

Just don’t quit.
