Overtraining and Overeating?

Unless you are following one of my programs, it’s extremely likely that you are training too much.

So many guys are lifting 5-6 days per week.

I recommend 3 and at most, 4 times per week.

Muscle is built while you are resting… not when you are training.

You need to get stronger, then rest.

*Training this way is optimal for fat loss too.

It’s not ONLY about strength and size.

If you overtrain, your body releases cortisol. This messes with your testosterone levels and also makes it much tougher to get lean.

You would think that lifting weights more would mean more calories burned…

And that this would help you get lean quickly.

Calories do get burned during these workouts.

What happens is that the body compensates outside of the gym by slowing down your metabolism a touch.

Training too much can also increase your appetite.

Higher cortisol and more calories consumed make it near impossible to get shredded.

A lot of guys give up.

Or they resort to anabolic drugs, etc.

P.S.

Another thing…

One of the reasons I recommend fasting for the first part of the day is it improves insulin sensitivity.

This is a good thing.

It means your body has to produce much less insulin to get the job done.

The opposite of this is insulin resistance…

The body has to produce a ton of insulin to operate properly.

High insulin levels in men raise estrogen levels.

Fasting can help fix this common issue.

There’s a reason why guys who follow my suggestions are finally able to get rid of pockets of stubborn body fat.

Hormones and insulin levels get dialed in.

They rapidly gain strength.

They finally lose stubborn body fat.

I can make this a reality for you as well.
