Aminos acids are probably the best supplement for helping you retain all muscle mass when on a fat loss diet.
There are common questions that come up often with Amino Acids, so I figured I would answer them in this email.
Q: What are Amino Acids?
Amino acids are molecules that combine to form proteins. They are the building blocks of protein. When proteins are digested or broken down, amino acids are left.
Q: What are Essential Amino Acids?
Essential amino acids cannot be made by the body, so they must come from food or a supplement. The 9 essential amino acids are: Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, and Valine.
Q: What are BCAAs?
BCAAs are Branched Chain Amino Acids. Out of the 9 essential amino acids, 3 of them are considered BCAAs: Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine.
Q: Why are the 3 BCAAs the most important out of the 9 Essential Amino Acids?
BCAAs are the most crucial essential amino acids when it comes to triggering muscle protein synthesis. The other 6 essential amino acids are important as well but not too hard to get from food and not specifically targeted at muscle growth as much as BCAAs.
BCAAs provide other specific benefits as well:
- Taking BCAAs before your workout reduces fatigue, allowing you to exercise longer before exhaustion.
- BCAAs improve your lactate threshold, which improves performance during high-intensity exercise.
- BCAAs have been shown to reduce muscle soreness and speed up the recovery process.
Q: Can you just take the 3 BCAAs to build muscle WITHOUT the other 6 Essential Amino Acids?
It still works to a certain extent if you just take BCAAs, but it has been found to be more effective to include all 9 aminos. You can still focus on BCAAs… but Leucine, in particular, needs some of the other essential amino acids to be utilized properly.
Kino Aminos is an advanced formula that contains an effective dose of the 3 BCAAs with enough of the other 6 essential amino acids for optimal performance.
Our amino stack is dialed in!
*In addition to the 9 Essential Amino Acids, we decided to add a powerful ingredient called HMB.
Here’s why HMB is f*ckn amazing…
One risk of dieting in a calorie deficit is excessive protein breakdown, resulting in muscle loss.
HMB can prevent this from happening.
It is so effective at reducing protein breakdown, in fact, that studies suggest it should be used for hospitalized adults to maintain muscle mass.
I like it so much…
I almost created a whole separate Kino HMB formula.
Instead of doing that…
I decided to add HMB to Kino Aminos to create the ultimate supplement for preserving muscle when calories are low, and fat loss is a priority.
When you combine HMB + Essential Aminos, you not only preserve muscle…
It becomes possible to add muscle while losing fat.
If you have ever lost hard-earned muscle on a diet, this is what you want to take to prevent this.
Kino Aminos (Anabolic Essential Amino + HMB formula)
Not only will you preserve muscle…
Your lifts should go up consistently as you diet down and get shredded.
I can’t recommend it highly enough.
