Why I Dislike Whey Protein Shakes

Years ago, I used to do shakes to get lean.

Typically, whey protein.

The problem is that I would be famished just a few hours later.

I swear I was hungrier than not eating at all.

It made it f*cking hard to stay lean…

Because I would eventually wind up bingeing on food and going way over in calories.

A huge insulin spike midday is the LAST thing you want if you are trying to get lean.

  • After an insulin spike, your blood sugar typically dips below regular levels
  • This makes you crave more food to get that blood sugar back up
  • It also makes you sleepy

Instead of Whey protein, I recommend Collagen.
