Lifting weights and getting strong feels incredible.
I personally love pushing myself.
Seeing how lean I can get while hitting PRs.
But there is more to life than living in the gym.
I was thinking of this a bit more after recent email I wrote (about hitting your potential in the gym then channeling that energy into achieving additional goals).
My hope is to help Kino Warriors become well-rounded in life.
To become “Modern Renaissance Men.”
What do I mean by that?
A Modern Renaissance Man – is knowledgeable, educated, or proficient in a wide range of fields.

*Ryan Reynolds is a prime example. He’s a successful actor, owns a Gin brand, an F1 racing team, a football club, has a beautiful wife, and four children.
He also gets bonus points for being Canadian 😉
Some other examples…
Brad Pitt, Donald Glover, George Clooney, Elon Musk, etc.
I like the idea of focusing hard on fitness.
Then, taking the discipline, focus, and determination required to get fit and channel it into the next “big thing” you want to accomplish in your life.
In fact…
I like the idea of working on 2 other things besides just getting fit.
Could be piano, boxing, painting, climbing, etc.
Just find two other things to get passionate about.
I’ve recently taken up surfing.

*I just started a little over a week ago and already hooked.
There’s a lot more to life than living in the gym.
For fitness, I recommend hitting these milestones.
- 100 lb dumbells on incline presses
- Half your body weight on weighted chin-ups
- Decent weight on Bulgarians
- Ideally, 8-12% or less body fat
That’s great, keep going for sure.
But you’re going to make much better progress working on some boxing or surfing or learning new skills.
You want to ‘parlay’ your fitness gains into new shit.
And it’s so fun learning shit when you’re lean, strong and powerful.
You accelerate.
After initially sucking, lol.
So take that newfound energy and discipline it took to get lean and powerful and direct that into other areas of life.
I also recommend getting your testosterone and overall energy optimized…
This will give you the drive and ambition to push yourself and live an adventurous, exciting life.
Also will accelerate muscle gains and fat loss.

P.S.
This is urgent!
You need to get to 12% or less ASAP.
Because body fat is estrogenic…
Excess body fat, especially visceral fat, contains high levels of the enzyme aromatase, which converts testosterone into estrogen.
You need to get lean to get your testosterone up!
Once you get lean – It becomes easier to stay lean.
This is because higher T levels help you melt fat and gain muscle.
This is why I’m able to stay lean year-round.

I cover all of this in my system – High T Fat Loss.
