Why I Eat Donuts Daily to Get Ripped

My donut videos made a lot of people angry on Instagram.

I’m still eating them, and I’m still lean.

The backlash is why I made this video. Most people put a moral label on food, and that label is what keeps them stuck.

It drives the cycle of eating perfectly for four days, blowing it on day five, feeling terrible, and starting over on Monday.

I lived that cycle for years, so I broke the whole thing down.

Why I Eat Donuts Daily to Get Ripped

Here’s some of what we cover:

  • Why guilt is the self-sabotage emotion, and what it does to your calories
  • Why putting a “bad” label on a food hands that food power over you
  • Why 300 calories of fruit does nothing for me but a donut hits the spot
  • The reframe I use before workouts and with cookies and milk at night
  • Why the fitness industry always needs one food to blame, and what actually drives fat gain
  • How strict dieting, 1,600 calories, and two hours of cardio led me to binge eating

The system is simple

Hit your calories. Hit your protein. Get your steps in and lift heavy to keep your muscle.

Then find the most enjoyable way to do all of it.

If that includes a treat every day, have it with zero guilt.

I got lean over a decade ago when I dropped the moral labels. A milk chocolate bar every day helped me stay consistent. Now it’s a donut, and cookies and milk at night.

It takes practice.

If you go over your calories, don’t beat yourself up. Ask why it happened. Maybe the treat didn’t fill you up, and you can adjust from there.

Watch the video, and you’ll see why I don’t feel guilty about any of this.
