I wanted to do a follow-up on yesterday’s email.
About how many guys age like sh*t.
In that email, I outline the best supplement for healthy skin.
But there are other things I do to maintain vibrant skin.

I keep it pretty straightforward…
1. I use a light moisturizer in the morning.
I go scent-free with this.
Almost every product that has a scent uses phthalates.
I warn people about avoiding cologne.
But having a scent in a lotion is probably worse because you’re rubbing it directly onto your skin and it’s absorbing into your body.

*Studies[1] show that applying phthalate-containing creams or products leads to detectable metabolites in urine within hours (peaking 8–12 hours after use), confirming they enter the bloodstream.
These are endocrine disruptors with xenoestrogenic effects.
So avoid the scented stuff!
2. I use a tinted mineral sunscreen during the day.
I like a mineral sunscreen better than a chemical sunscreen, because it doesn’t absorb into the body.
There’s less risk of hormonal disruption.
And mineral sunscreen blocks out UVA (aging rays) and UVB (burning rays).
Chemical sunscreens can block out both rays also.
But mineral sunscreens have been shown to block out UVA (aging rays) more reliably.
So, it’s a better choice overall.
The slight tint also makes your skin look good.
3. In the evening, I use a copper peptide serum.
I’ll first cleanse my face.
Then I’ll put on a copper peptide serum.
This is shown to boost collagen and elastin production, which helps firm skin, reduce fine lines/wrinkles, and improve elasticity.
It also has hyaluronic acid which hydrates the skin.
It promotes a more radiant look to your skin.
I highly recommend it.
After the copper peptide serum, I use a little bit of moisturizer.
Note: I also may start experimenting with morning niacinamide (good for redness, strengthens skin barrier).
I also may try retinol at some point but keeping in the back pocket for now. The one issue is that although it is a proven topical for skin aging, it also makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. I’m in the sun quite a bit so I have to be cautious.
And as I said in yesterday’s email, I take Kino Collagen Protein daily.

Kino Collagen contains both Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid
- Collagen is the “frame” because it provides the tensile strength. It’s the rigid structure that stops your skin from sagging and your joints from grinding.
- Hyaluronic Acid is the “moisture” because it fills the space between that scaffolding.
You really need both ingredients if you want to take care of your skin from the inside out.
I also take Kino Nitro each and every day.
Kino Nitro increases nitric oxide and blood flow, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells.
It also contains Pine Bark Extract and key antioxidants that protect against free radical damage. Less oxidative stress means less premature aging.
The blood flow + collagen is a potent combination for incredible skin.
This is the skin routine I’m sticking with.
Simple but incredibly effective.
